As a QA Architect at Findem, you will have the opportunity to support and help launch new features across multiple teams. You will be responsible for developing and documenting strategies for testing, executing the strategies, and implementing automation. This role will also help shape best practices across the company and be an advocate for quality assurance in development. As a QA Architect, you will play a key role in shaping our products from the early stages of development. You will be expected to become a domain expert and work closely with both product and engineering teams. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for ensuring quality to be able to provide clear and concise feedback to our teams.
Here's What You Will Be Doing
- Test planning, test design, test development and automation
- Provide feedback and insight from a Quality Assurance standpoint on new features in development
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Drive QA equipements and metrics
- Bug tracking reporting, reviewing and analyzing test results- Ensuring timely detection, prioritization, and resolution of defects, with a focus on impact assessment and early resolution
- Automate testing of our products and help shape our CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication skills to perform Quality Assurance duties across multiple teams
- Should be willing to work in a very fluid startup environment and take complete ownership of quality across both ongoing operations and change initiatives within your assigned business vertical
- Drive the implementation of test frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and test coverage
- Establish and enhance QA processes, standards, and methodologies to meet industry best practices and compliance requirements
- Contribute to Manual QA team
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA Lead experience. This is an individual contributor role
- 8+ years of QA experience
- Experience in implementing a range of test disciplines in a Waterfall and/or agile environment
- Good all-round IT Quality Assurance background from preferably a number of industries/domains
- Experience in both Waterfall and Agile, BDD, Dev Ops testing methodologies
- Experience of working in startups and product companies
- Excellent knowledge (ideally hands-on) of both Manual and Automation tooling and frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD
- Experience in developing metrics to access the performance of the test team
- Experience in running UAT exercises with globally dispersed teams
- Good understanding of cloud (AWS) technologies and infrastructure
- This role is an Individual contributor role based out of our Bangalore/ Chennai office in a Hybrid model
