Our Account Manager is a key member of our sales team and manages a roster of customers that is specific to a geographical region. This role reports to the Senior Sales Director and is responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives through a consultative sales approach. The Account Manager will be a consummate team-player who collaborates closely with Hoover CS team members and drives a consistent focus on Customer Success.

Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and grow Hoover's rental & service business with target customer accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions.
  • Develop new customers by prospecting, leads follow-ups, and cold calls.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to grow revenue and exceed client expectations.
  • Effective and efficient opportunities management.
  • Review and provide input on target customer opportunities while ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy.
  • Identify and build relationships with decision makers within existing and new accounts.
  • Coordinate with other Account Managers, Field Representatives and Operations Professionals to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Follow up with customers on orders, quotes, and service requested.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • 3 - 5 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Bachelors in mechanical or chemical engineering or Post-secondary education in Sales or Business Management.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative with a track record of achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools.
  • Excellent computer-based skills; Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.

Travel Requirements:


  • 20 to 30% overnight travel within region

Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job you will regularly be required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. You must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 95000.00 To 110000.00 (USD) Annually
