Position Summary:The CSM helps to create a professional and supportive learning environment for counselors and reinforces trauma-informed and client-centered counseling services for clients.The Counseling Services Manager (CSM) manages a team of diverse and dedicated Master’s level Counselors and is a member of the WEAVE Leadership Team. This position is a combination of managerial and clinical job duties. The CSM is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the counseling department; provide supervision, support, and training to new and current counseling staff; provide oversight and implementation of counseling grants, policies and protocols, including grant reporting; collaborate with partner agencies and represent WEAVE in the community; provide short- and long-range counseling program assessment, efficacy, growth and development; hold a small client caseload as needed; assist with client crisis intervention as needed.

Responsibilities:
· Manage and supervise Master’s level counseling staff and student interns· Ensure compliance with counseling dept. documentation, schedules/session limits and grant goals/objectives· Hire and train new counseling staff and student interns/trainees· Manage day-to-day department workflow/operations· Provide individual and group counseling as needed and complete documentation within dept. and agency guidelines· Provide crisis intervention as needed· Coordinate and provide counseling coverage as needed· Facilitate counseling department meetings· Assist with counseling wait list procedures· Review and submit accurate counseling billing within agency/contract guidelines· Provide thorough grant reports in a timely manner· Assist CPO with counseling program assessment, growth, and development· Represent counseling department and maintain effective working relationships with agency and community partners· Provide consultation to staff and student interns regarding client related issues· Support staff at offsite counseling locations · Provide clinical supervision if needed · Collaborate with CPO and Clinical Supervisor regarding counseling department staffing, policies, and protocols· Provide training in Peer Counselor Training, Continuing Education and to agency staff as needed· Coordinate with Human Resources and CPO regarding new hires, employee concerns and disciplinary actions· Coordinate and participate in interviews/recruitment for new counseling staff and student interns/trainees· Review timesheets in a timely manner for accuracy and correct funding allocations· Review and submit administrative paperwork for accuracy and timely submission to Finance and HR departments· Participate in agency meetings and committees as assigned· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
1. ASW, AMFT or APCC required2. At least 1-2 years post Master’s experience, including counseling experience3. Current BBS Registration and active certificate of insurance for professional liability4. Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current vehicle insurance5. Strong verbal and written communication skills6. Ability to create and generate accurate and timely reports7. Ability to use a computer and related MS software, i.e.
