Title: Accounting Manager


Location: Calabasas, CA


Schedule:


Hours of operation for the office are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. Monday – Wednesday in the office; Thursday – Friday remote.As the Accounting Manager, you will lead our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role will collaborate closely with the Finance & Accounting Senior Manager on financial analysis, account reconciliation, and policy development, while also motivating and guiding a dedicated team.

What You’ll Do:


  • Oversee and manage core accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports, maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support senior management decision-making.
  • Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring thorough compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial policies to improve efficiency and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and professional development.
  • Engage in special projects, such as cost analysis and budgeting for new initiatives, as needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Four (4) or more years of progressive public accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to set, pursue, and achieve goals, ensuring projects meet customer needs and adhere to quality and deadline expectations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities, capable of clearly conveying information to a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to focus on detailed work, with a talent for synthesizing distinct data sets to generate actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to tasks ensuring effective and efficient outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and the ability to quickly adapt to new software as needed.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Solid understanding and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment, with a genuine willingness to learn and grow.

Compensation:


Salary range between $85,000 - $110,000. – may be eligible for additional, discretionaryIncentive compensation based on individual and the firm’s performance. Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
