About the Role:
This is a full-time position required to help the Finance team of Augmedix to effectively manage various accounting processes and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciliations of BS accounts and Bank accounts.
- Management of Accounts Payable (A/P) and maintenance of A/P aging
- Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data,flowcharts and current practices to ensure effective internal controls.
- Create Variance Analysis and monitoring of anomalies to raise flags of any inconsistencies.
- Be adept at handling software such as ADP, QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify.
- Maintain communication with all other departments to ensure smooth support services regarding Accounts Payable and Expense reporting.
- Continuous knowledge development of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Follow & Update a system of controls, procedures, and forms for fixed assets register.
- Ensure complete statutory compliance.
- Ad hoc tasks and functions, as when assigned.
- Lead annual statutory audit and perform quarterly/annual regulatory deadlines such as documentation of Board Meetings/ Annual General Meetings etc.
- Willingness to work flexible hours i.e. night shift.
- Willingness to produce innovations in work processes to facilitate effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Finance/Accounting major will be an added advantage.
- Partial completion of Professional qualification from member bodies of IFAC.
- 1 -2 years of experience preferably in a multinational environment.
- Fluency in English is a MUST.
- Should be able to work during the Hybrid shift to support our USA entity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word).
- Ability to work in a flat organization.
- Ability to communicate with external/internal stakeholders without supervision.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable and reliable with the ability to be productive under pressure.
