Account Specialist
Job Overview
Hoover CS is looking for an Account Specialist to maintain, strengthen and expand relationships with strategic customers in West Canada region. This role will create and follow up on leads and opportunities that support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic relationships across functions with key customers in West Canada.
- Contribute to the development of Strategic Account Plans by having a strong knowledge of the territory and regional needs.
- Identify, nurture, develop and close new opportunities in the territory.
- Effectively perform 'Business Reviews' with customers.
- Able to guide customers on using sustainable reusable packaging vs. single use packaging.
- Provide training to customers about Hoover CS and the products we offer.
- Collaborate with other Sales professionals and other functions in Canada and US.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in industrial and/or chemicals sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business is preferred.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of self-accountability and motivation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills.
- Excellent computer-based skills; Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
Travel Requirements:
• Able to travel 1 week/month

While performing the duties of this job you will regularly be required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. You must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
