SecurityPal Inc. has about 140 people in Nepal (approximately 170 globally) looking to grow further.The Data Scientist role is essential in achieving our goals:
- To develop and deploy machine learning models that enhance B2B transactions for our clients.
- To analyze and interpret large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and insights that support informed business decisions.
- To work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions, optimize operations, and continuously improve our platform.
As a Data Scientist, you will:
- Machine Learning Algorithm Development: Develop and implement advanced machine learning models using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to solve complex problems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models into SecurityPal's platform, enhancing functionality and user experience.
- Product/Project Deployment: Deploy data science products/projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver measurable value.
- Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI/ML, applying new techniques and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of deploying successful machine learning models in a production environment.
- Strong expertise in Python, R, or similar programming languages and machine learning libraries.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their machine learning tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
