About This Role
We are looking to hire an entry-level financial planner for a paraplanner role. You will assist at least two CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals in preparing financial plans for our unique user base. Such an individual will desire working in a team-oriented independent RIA firm and you will learn and help shape the way we care for our clients, gaining valuable experience for developing a financial planning career.This role is:

This position will report to our senior CFP at NewRetirement Advisors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial analyses and financial plans for clients
- Prepare final reports, analyses, and proposals (with financial advisor’s guidance) and help prepare for client meetings
- Support current clients by updating their financial plans and profiles through enhanced reporting on their continued needs, and develop presentation materials for business reviews
- Conduct research, reporting, and analysis
- Provide support for processing client service needs. In addition to helping to prepare the financial analysis for clients, you will also:
- Help track prospects and new business activities through contracts, meetings, and payments and:
- Help with creation, improvement, and implementation of workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance client experience
- Prepare advisor for client appointments, including putting together client paperwork, applications, and marketing materials
- Maintain CRM software/database, keeping it current for sorting, searching, reporting, fee tracking, and new business opportunities
- Provide a white glove customer experience
- Answer client questions, help with onboarding and assist in operations when needed
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in the field is desirable, although not required, as this is an entry-level financial planning position with career development.We expect you to:
- Be passionate about personal finance and helping clients achieve financial wellness
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial planning concepts
- Be able to recognize/read personal and corporate financial documents, take direction, brainstorm with financial advisor, and facilitate interaction with outside resources and vendors
- Have excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills to interface with team and clients
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Be a self-starter, productive, and be able to work well both with a team and independently
- Have the ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client needs and requirements
- Possess keen attention to detail
- Have excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess a dedicated commitment to providing superior customer service
Preferably you also have:
- Your CFP or be working toward your CFP
- B.A. or B.S. in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Certification as a paraplanner
- Knowledge of CRM (specifically Wealthbox) and financial planning software
Salary Range
This position offers a competitive salary between $$65,000 - $85,000Kdependent upon experience and qualifications. Salary may vary by location based on factors including cost of living.
