The Basics:
The Principal Product Marketing Manager, Solutions will own solutions packaging and positioning for Vumedi’s commercial products, which are sold to pharmaceutical and medical device companies. This role will be primarily responsible for packaging, positioning, and pricing of advertising and sponsorship solutions. The ideal candidate has previous experience taking a company from one to many products or solutions, and developing a cohesive narrative for that transition.
What you’ll do:
- Solutions and Product Packaging:
- Lead the development and packaging of advertising and sponsorship products, ensuring they meet market needs and are positioned for success.
- Codify and simplify packaging to set up Vumedi for scale as the company grows sales team and customer success professionals.
- Positioning and Pricing:
- Strategically position our solutions in the market and develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Market Intelligence:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs, using insights to inform solutions product marketing strategies.
- Define tailored solutions strategies for different customer segments as Vumedi expands to all of medicine.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with solutions, customer success, product marketing and product management (if necessary) to drive commercial packaging and messaging.
- Ensure alignment of solutions go-to-market strategies to stakeholder goals.
- Customer Insights:
- Engage with customers and leverage feedback to refine solutions packaging and messaging approach.
- Own and update Vumedi’s solutions product marketing roadmap.
- Brand Champion:
- Ensure that all solutions packaging align with the company's brand and messaging guidelines.
- Act as the internal expert for solutions becoming the ‘voice of the customer’ within Vumedi.
- Performance Metrics:
- Develop and measure adoption and revenue growth for a suite of products or bundled solutions.
- Product Materials:
- Build out and maintain the internal and externals materials and process documents related to the solutions that you oversee
Whom we’re looking for:
- 4-7 years of experience in product marketing or equivalent, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Proven track record of defining market positioning, go-to-market messaging and launch plans influenced by market trends, customer feedback, and competitive differentiation.
- A working understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in marketing digital advertising and sponsorship products, ideally those targeting HCPs.
- Expertise in crafting slides and stories to position digital products to clients, and experience driving how they are packaged, positioned and sold.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Effective management of simultaneous, competing projects and priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency and confidence managing relationships to drive collaboration.
- Able to demonstrate innovation, successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways in often-stressful, deadline-intensive environments.
- Expertise in Google Suite, familiarity with program management tools like Jira.
