About the Role:


We are looking for a Director of Education to join our fast-growing team. Internally, our manager will work directly with both our Education and Sales teams to make sure we’re up-to-date on trending medical topics. As the number of specialties we address grows, they will help us get up to speed in new practice areas and will be responsible for helping to develop strategies in those areas. Externally, our Director of Education is the face of their specialty to our KOL community and will be responsible for expanding that community and conceptualizing new strategic initiatives relevant to these partnerships.

What you’ll do:


  • Develop the clinical strategy for making VuMedi the top educational resource in Pulmonology. We are looking for candidates who come to us with a framework in biology and medicine with experience specific to asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, or interventional pulmonology. 
  • Be our market researcher. You will track and communicate key trends in your specialties. You will keep up to date on clinical trials, trends, and products aligned to trends. 
  • Coordinate with our education team to make sure we have the video content to contextualize these trends and recruit KOLs to provide timely information.
  • Ensure that our sales team is always looking around the next corner and knows what therapies are upcoming. 
  • Develop relationships with KOLs, meeting organizers, hospitals, and societies to build a network of content contributors.
  • Identify and test approaches to make VuMedi methodologies more efficient and productive.

About you:


  • You have been an MSL, regional marketing manager, sales trainer, clinical nurse educator, clinical education specialist or are in the medical education space. You know how to get from “no” to “yes.”
  • You’re accustomed to talking to KOLs, including in person.
  • You know the KOL landscape. You can rattle off the speakers’ bureau in your specialty.
  • You’re passionate about making contributions and taking on new challenges to grow the company
  • You are a constant learner and embrace learning new clinical knowledge and market trends
  • You are highly organized to manage multiple projects seamlessly
  • You have exceptional verbal communication skills 
  • You’re capable and fulfilled by working in an autonomous environment with high personal responsibility
