Job Description
The Technical Delivery Manager would encompass overseeing technical project delivery for Data Warehouse, ensuring that business and technical requirements are met. This role oversees data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories.
Primary Job Duties:
- Support reporting, modeling, ETL projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth operation within Microsoft Azure Stack
- Establish auditing processes, ensure data quality and adhering to security measures in place
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document requirements and prioritize solutions
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manages the Data Warehouse third-party vendors in the day-to-day operations and performance
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are achieved
- Collaborates with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the data warehouse meets the needs of Longbridge Financial
- Continuously develops, monitors, refine, and report on the performance and capacity of the data warehouse
- Handles incident management, change management, and problem resolution for data warehouse issues
- Lead regular meetings with technical teams to capture progress, roadblocks, challenges, identify solutions, and next steps
- Report project status to stakeholders and management
- Performs any other related duties as assigned or as necessary
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience managing a Data Warehouse
- 2+ years of experience Microsoft Azure Stack a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio required
- Familiarity with Mortgage software, tools and processes preferred
- Capable of self-managing workload with little to no supervision
- Provide leadership and project management in a cross-team environment
- Be comfortable juggling multiple projects and constantly shifting timelines in a fast-paced complex environment
- Detail-oriented. Able to understand complex information and extract up or down as may be required to communicate to a technical associate or executive with appropriate level of granularity
- Effective problem solving through understanding of complex issues and ability to develop creative workarounds
- Clear and understandable speaking and writing capabilities
- Experience navigating Microsoft SharePoint and Teams document repositories.
