Warehouse Manager Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the overall operations of multiple warehouses within a designated region. This includes overseeing inventory management, logistics, shipping, receiving, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
- Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment strategies to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and between warehouses.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to negotiate contracts and optimize shipping routes for cost-effectiveness.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.
Inventory Control:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to accurately track inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with purchasing and procurement teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and train warehouse personnel on safe work practices and procedures.
- Address any safety concerns or violations promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
- Develop and mentor employees to enhance their skills and career growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3 + years of previous warehouse, electrical and/or solar experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely (50lbs)
- Basic computer skills helpful for inventory software
- Forklift experience is a must, Forklift certified is preferred
- Must have valid Drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Desire to succeed in the renewable energy industry while building a career with a regional solar leader.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- General knowledge of home construction, building materials, workplace safety, fall protection, electrical materials, and OSHA standards
- Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment

Salary Description$60,000-$75,000
