Job Description:
We are looking for a talented
US-based
Quicksight/Tableau Expert with a strong data visualization and mathematical modeling background to join our team. The ideal candidate will help build systems that transform raw data from various sources into meaningful insights, utilizing Quicksight or Tableau to create effective visualizations and reports. The role will require collaboration with data scientists, business engineers, and other stakeholders to develop scalable data solutions that support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Quicksight and/or Tableau.
- Work with large datasets and ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and visualization of data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data-driven solutions.
- Analyze raw data sources and suggest improvements to meet business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable architectures for data visualization.
- Continuously improve internal processes such as automating manual data processes, optimizing data flows, and enhancing visualization efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy and security, upholding the principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with Quicksight and/or Tableau.
- A degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics with formal mathematical training.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL for exploring and manipulating datasets.
- A background in Math, Physics, or Engineering with a strong understanding of data visualization principles.
- A design portfolio showcasing experience with data visualizations is a plus.
- Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is beneficial.
- Familiarity with a programming language (e.g., Python, Scala) is an added advantage.
Bonus Skills:
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
