About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Field Quality Program Manager to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the highest quality standards for our products in the field and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes.In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing field quality trends, managing dashboards, and leading root cause analysis for product failures. This role will own the Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) for New Product Introductions (NPI) and conduct regular failure analysis for sustaining programs.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the factory team to drive improvements in manufacturing defects and ensure that feedback is effectively communicated to the Design, Electrical, and Software teams for future enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Field Quality Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze field quality data to identify trends and potential issues.

  • Maintain and update quality dashboards to provide visibility into field performance.

  • Lead EFFA processes for NPI launches to quickly identify and address early failures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid resolution of issues.

  • Failure Analysis for Sustaining Programs

  • Conduct regular failure analysis for sustaining programs to understand root causes of defects.

  • Document findings and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Drive root cause analysis efforts with factory teams to identify and eliminate manufacturing defects.

  • Ensure thorough documentation of analysis and corrective actions.

  • Work closely with Design, Electrical, and Software teams to provide feedback on field issues.

  • Ensure that lessons learned are incorporated into future product designs and processes.

  • Collaborate with factory teams to provide input and drive improvements in manufacturing processes.

  • Conduct regular reviews of manufacturing defects and implement improvement plans.

  • Quality Improvement Initiatives

  • Lead initiatives to improve overall product quality and reliability.

  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies across the organization.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, field quality, or related roles.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with quality analysis tools and methodologies.

  • Proven experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
