We are pleased to announce an opening for a Senior Technical Liaison who will join our Engineering Services Team in Fort Belvoir, VA and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control marketspaces. Qualified candidates will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Liaison will support the MDA Advanced Architectures, Advanced Concepts Evaluation Team (MDA/CAS). The MDA/CAS team performs evaluations for emerging advanced concepts and technologies to increase the effectiveness of the globally deployed Missile Defense System and makes recommendations to the MDA Chief Architect for new concept demonstrations and potential inclusion in future deliveries of MDS Elements. The selected candidates will provide represent the Missile Defense Agency with respect to technical interests at US Government forums. Duties include:
- Seeking out Other Government Agency (OGA) programs and technologies that have the potential to advance the MDA mission through collaboration on research or integration of capabilities
- Advising and making recommendations to the MDA Director of Advanced Concepts Evaluation and the MDA Chief Architect as to the nature and potential of OGA programs
- Tracking the progress of OGA programs of interest
- Serving as an ongoing liaison between MDA and OGAs during program consultations, planning, and execution of joint activities
Basic Qualifications:
At a minimum, qualified candidates must have:
- A master’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or computer science.
- At least 12 years of full-time professional experience in a technical field related to missile defense and/or technical analysis of a complex Department of Defense (DoD) weapon system
- Must be eligible to obtain or have an active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility; minimum SECRET level clearance is required at time of hire.
- Must be able to work at our customer site on Fort Belvoir in Fairfax County, Virginia
- United States citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Special Access Program (SAP)
- In depth knowledge of MDA components and technologies
- OGA defense and space programs at a highly classified level
- Understanding of the DoD and MDA acquisition processes
- rience conducting or overseeing architecture development and assessment of alternatives
- Experience working with USG and corporate senior technical staff and executives
- Experience interacting with and advising senior-level government customers
- Experience generating briefings, white papers, and presenting information at the executive level
Travel requirements:
An estimated 5-15% of total work will be performed while traveling to CONUS or OCONUS sites as needed by the government customer.
