Full-timeDescriptionThis Account Manager role on our Multi-Product Team will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small business clients in the digital marketing space. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the company's services. The ideal candidate will have excellent client communication and relationship-building skills, along with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, SMM and Paid Ads/PPC.

OBJECTIVES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage their accounts, handling any updates, changes, or inquiries that may arise. Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for improvement or growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and to better understand their needs and goals. Communicate regularly with clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and content creation, to ensure client projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Regularly analyze and report on client's digital marketing performance, including metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates. Provide recommendations for optimization and improvement based on these insights.
- Work to retain clients by ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services and addressing any potential issues before they escalate. Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products that could benefit clients' business goals.
COMPETENCIES:
- Digital Marketing and a strong understanding of SEO, SMM and Paid Ads/PPC is required. Google Analytics/AdWords Certification is a big plus. Knowledge of local search ranking factors and/or writing content on the internet is recommended.
- Ability to actively collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals and objectives, and then developing effective digital marketing strategies to achieve those goals.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented in a production intensive environment, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to address and resolve any client issues or complaints, coordinating with internal teams as needed to provide timely and effective solutions. Escalate critical issues to management when necessary.
- Building rapport, collaborating effectively, and fostering positive working relationships with clients and colleagues. This includes being approachable, empathetic, and understanding.
- Expressing ideas, instructions, and feedback effectively and clearly through spoken word. This includes being able to articulate complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
- Writing clear and concise emails, reports, proposals, and other forms of written communication. This includes using proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Delivering engaging and persuasive presentations, including creating and demonstrating digital marketing proposals or recommendations to clients.
- Engaging in constructive negotiations with clients or vendors to reach mutually beneficial agreements. This includes being able to articulate and defend the firm's position while taking into account the interests of all parties involved.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years minimum of Account Management experience, preferably in an SEO or Marketing Agency setting.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales-based position within a metrics driven organization
- A College Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or other related field is a big plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
