We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team at ForeFlight in the role of Community and Merchandising Coordinator. This multifaceted position will involve coordinating our merchandise store operations and supporting community-generated content, ensuring a vibrant and engaged user community.
Responsibilities
- Curate and oversee the ForeFlight merchandise store and internal apparel and merchandise needs, including product sourcing, vendor coordination, inventory management, procurement, and fulfillment.
- Develop the online catalog of apparel and devices including product listings, descriptions, pricing, and availability.
- Partner with the broader marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns across various digital and in-person (event) channels.
- Identify and implement strategies to meet sales goals such as promotions, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Ensure the eCommerce platform (BigCommerce) is optimized for the best user experience and SEO performance.
- Analyze key eCommerce metrics (e.g. conversion rates, traffic, and bounce rates) to understand trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Foster a positive and supportive community environment across various platforms, including ForeFlight Mobile in-app communities.
- Plan, organize, and execute community meetups, events, and webinars both virtually and in-person.
- Monitor customer reviews, feedback, and complaints to improve satisfaction and retention.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in merchandise management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Knowledge of implementing digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display and affiliate channels.
- Understanding of traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimization.
- Experience with Attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for aviation is a must.
