Minimum Qualification:
Bachelors In Design/Technology or Equivalent
Required Tools:
- Figma
- Photoshop
- Prototyping Tools (e.g., InVision, Marvel, ProtoPie)
- Collaboration Tools (e.g., Zeplin, Abstract, Miro)
- HTML/CSS Knowledge (Basic understanding for better communication with developers)
Good to have:
- Sketch or Adobe XD (Familiarity with other design tools can be a plus)
- CAD
Skills:
- Wireframe Creation
- Should be able to create low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity wireframes.
- UI Design
- Should be able to design UIs with a focus on UX.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and brand-consistent designs.
- UX Research
- Should be interested in learning more about UX research.
- Conducting user research, interviews, and surveys.
- Analyzing and interpreting user data and behavior.
- Usability Testing
- Conducting usability testing and iterating on designs based on feedback.
- Design System Creation
- Should be able to create a design system.
- Interaction Design
- Understanding user interactions and creating designs for smooth experiences.
- Creating micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
- Responsive and Adaptive Design
- Designing interfaces for a variety of devices and screen sizes.
- Knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- Accessibility (a11y)
- Designing with accessibility in mind, ensuring usability for people with disabilities.
- Familiarity with WCAG guidelines.
- Continuous Learning
- Passion for staying up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.
