Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute growth strategy plans to increase market penetration, expand new markets, applications, and OEM programs
  • Anticipate, plan and execute for customer needs, industry trends, and competitive threats
  • Manage inside and outside sales teams to increase revenue and margin level for each representative
  • Develop and coach the sales team on the sales process and methodology.
  • Conduct territory data analysis
  • Provide on-going channel performance feedback and train channels on company products when applicable
  • Implement project and opportunity forecasting via CRM system
  • Provide information and intelligence for new products and solutions
  • Provide customer and channel relationship management
  • Manage Americas P&L and financial forecast with peer group.
  • Coordinate and cross train with global sales team on global initiatives
  • Work closely with marketing team on strategic initiatives related new product launches, marketing collateral, digital content, etc.

Education and Experience:


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management in the industrial market
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering, business (or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Master's degree preferred.

Travel :  50% (majority in N. America)

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:


  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to prepare and edit information/content for website, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.  Fluent in English.  Written and verbal communications are delivered to the respective “audience” clearly and effectively.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
