A global brand in headsets, keyboard, mice and other accessories for gamers, SteelSeries products are sold via distributors, retailers, and GN’s own webstores in 80+ countries across the world.As our new Director of Commercial Finance, you will be developing and running the Finance Business Partner organization. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of the Gaming Division, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure operational standards and financial growth and serve as a trusted advisor to the division Business Finance Officer, providing valuable financial insights and guidance.Overall, this opportunity presents an exciting chance to make a significant impact within a creative and innovative organization.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will be responsible for
Strategic:
- Be a trusted advisor to the division Business Finance Officer and Regional GMs
- Assist formulate and develop regional strategic initiatives to achieve desired business outcomes (e.g. strategic and operational efficiency, growth opportunities or similar)
- Work with commercial leaders to validate conclusions and influence decisions to optimize the long-term financial results
- Define KPIs and leading metrics for the regions or brand and hold business accountable for delivery of objectives through proactively reviewing current situation and highlighting any gaps or actions
- Support commercial organization to ensure all material investments are reviewed from multiple perspectives
- Model investment opportunities with known variables and identify risk factors and provide overall recommendations
- Develop long range plans. Identify macroeconomic and environmental factors impacting sales trajectory. Define range of assumptions (new launches, pricing, etc.)
Operational:
- Monitor and challenge the business performance and understand any gaps versus forecast and potential impact on the P&L
- Advice on gross margin and revenue optimization opportunities through financial insights and promote forward initiatives needed to achieve business efficiency or other financial strategies
- Model scenarios to forecast performances (short-, medium-, and long term) for a range of likely market behaviours, government, or regulatory changes, and advise business leaders on how to navigate through the critical changes
- Promote cross-functional initiatives across the business collaborating with a broad range of business stakeholders (Incl. IT, HR, Operations, Sales, Marketing, R&D and Strategy)
- Anchor and deliver on efficiencies across own finance organization as part of GN’s finance strategy
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you will thrive with:
- Ability to develop and articulate a clear strategy and scope for the Finance track within the program while aligning with the overarching purpose and objectives
- Several years proven record of accomplishment within similar commercial finance roles
- Ability in leading projects and driving team performance to meet deliverables, by developing people with influence, fostering team engagement and high-performance culture in a virtual organization
- Solid experience in building relationships and securing buy-in from Senior Leadership stakeholders across functions & divisions
- Deep understanding of Finance business processes and their integration within broader corporate processes
- Advanced ´real-life´ problem-solving skills resulting in ready to implement solutions, and structure freak
- Effective communication skills effectively across various levels of the organization and to present complex information clearly in a business language
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
