Job Summary:
Retailer Web Services builds, hosts, and manages E-Commerce websites for over 2000 retailers nationwide. We are seeking a Web & Graphic Designer to join our talented team!As a Web Designer, you will have a passion for clean code, professional graphic design, and staying on top of the latest web technologies. This job entails building new websites using the Bootstrap 3 framework, working with various clients and our internal teams to ensure our products look visually remarkable and our websites are cleanly coded to the latest web standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and update a never-ending stream of client websites
- Provide website support and updates for internal departments
- Work closely with in-house departments to complete tasks
- Troubleshoot and problem solve website-based issues
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to hand code HTML and CSS on a Bootstrap framework. A code evaluation test will be administered to confirm your skills. Our framework is written in Bootstrap, so experience with Bootstrap is strongly desired.
- Proficient in Sublime (or other text editor) and Adobe Photoshop. Illustrator is a huge plus too.
- Proven ability to professionally design and hand code a website from start to finish.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and jQuery gets giant brownie points
- Applicants must provide a portfolio site OR recent examples of their most current, relevant work.
- Candidate will be required to complete and pass a background check screening upon offer of employment.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, tools, and software
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to take detailed notes!
- Positive, no drama attitude and great work ethic.
- Able to thrive in a team environment.
- Flexible working hours between 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday
- No travel required
Work Environment:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
