Employment is based on a person’s professional qualifications and competence.Your Role:As a Business Analyst on our Finance team, you willbe a key contributor focused on process improvement, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is perfect for you if you’re a proactive individual who enjoys wearing multiple hats at a time to support the Finance team’s objectives. A strong financial background, an analytical mindset, and a passion for optimizingbusinesses processes will set you up for success in this position.What You’ll Do:

  • Review and analyze existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows within the Finance team, reducing redundancies and improving accuracy.
  • Document and implement best practices to standardize processes across the department.
  • Support the development of automation solutions to reduce manual work and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate financial reports, dashboards, and/or KPIs to support business decision-making.
  • Assist in the month-end and quarter-end close processes by ensuring timely and accurate financial data reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine reporting methodologies and enhance the quality of financial insights.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial analysis and process improvement expertise.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support various business initiatives, projects, and decision-making processes.
  • Respond to requests from senior management for financial insights and recommendations.

Starting Salary: $95,000What Makes a Great Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience required
  • Proficiencyin financial modeling and analysis, with advanced skills in Excel.  
  • Experience with financial software (e.g.,Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite, Great Plains, Jet Reporting) and data visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.  
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles within the Finance team, adapting to varying tasks and priorities.
  • Strong focus on optimizing and standardizing financial processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or Six Sigma are a plus
