THE OPPORTUNITY:The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Inventory & Fulfillment Team Member plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate IT asset inventory, order fulfillment, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time position M-F 8am-5pm.THE DAY TO DAY:Order Fulfillment
- Pick and pack items for parcel shipments
- Prepare freight shipments according to specifications
- Stage equipment for provisioning or deployment
- Restock items upon completion of provisioning
Shipping and Receiving
- Prepare outgoing shipments with appropriate packaging and labeling
- Assist in coordinating pickups with shipping carriers
- Process PO claims and manage RMA procedures
- Help book freight shipments as directed
Asset Reception and Processing
- Receive incoming shipments of IT assets
- Verify shipments against purchase orders for accuracy
- Unpack and inspect items for damage or discrepancies
- Report any issues to the Inventory Team Leader
Asset Documentation
- Scan serial numbers and asset tags
- Enter asset information into the inventory management system
- Assist in generating asset record documents
- Label assets with appropriate tags and identifiers
Inventory Management
- Organize and store assets in designated locations
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories
- Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies
- Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Equipment Handling
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Assist in forklift operations under supervision (if certified)
- Move and arrange heavy equipment safely
Data Entry and Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements
- Update asset status in the inventory management system
- Assist in preparing inventory reports
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Support other team members as needed
- Report any safety concerns or process improvement ideas
Compliance and Security
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of asset and client information
- Assist in maintaining a secure warehouse environment
THE VITALS:
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or IT asset management preferred
- Forklift certification
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software
- Knowledge of IT hardware and components
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time without fatiguing.
- Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- The ability to pass a drug test/background screen with no prior convictions of theft related felonies in the last 7 years.
- The ability to speak/read English fluently.
