Technical Infrastructure at Valon


We are building a world-class platform to champion homeowners, and the Technical Infrastructure department is vital to maintaining our teams’ technologies. The Technical Infrastructure department is responsible for the architecture, hardware, software, and networking of all internal computers at Valon. You’ll join a small, tight-knit group of IT professionals and work cross-functionally with different departments to empower all employees—across two offices and multiple remote workspaces—as we work to improve the process of homeownership.

About the Role


We are seeking an IT Analyst to support our servicing operations team. This person will play a key role in ensuring our continued success by responding to technical support queries in a timely and satisfactory manner, including requests for hardware repair, equipment relocation, and system access. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of partnering with high-level stakeholders and testing, adopting, and implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities


  • Install and configure Windows and Mac laptops, software, cloud services, systems, networks, MFA devices, printers, and scanners.
  • Manage the on- and off-boarding of users, as well as the provisioning and de-provisioning of devices.
  • Effectively respond to requests and track progress in Jira Service Management.
  • Manage and restock inventory as needed.
  • Roll out and support software updates and other laptop security services and policies.
  • Support and service SSO (Single Sign-On) with third-party software to increase security and convenience.
  • Effectively guide and communicate with users.
  • Independently operate with a high degree of professionalism—while simultaneously being a member of a close-knit team.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in desktop and mobile administration, Google Workplace administration, service management, identity and access management, network administration, and business system administration.
  • Previous experience working with a full technology stack.
  • Previous security remediation and audit experience.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
