We are looking for an exceptionalAccounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance/Accounting Departmentteam in Sunday Riley`sCorporate Office. Your main areas of focus will be to:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts payable process. This role involves ensuring that all invoices and expenses are processed in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in financial accounting.

Review, verify, and process invoices in accordance with company policies.
Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure proper approval prior to payment.
Resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices in a timely manner.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including checks and ACH transactions.
Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts as required.
Work with Vendor Master to maintain and update vendor files, including contact information and payment terms.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other relevant issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.
Generate and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging reports, and identify any issues or areas for improvement.
Assist in month-end closing by providing supporting documentation and reports.
Compliance & Process Improvement:
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to accounts payable.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.
General Accounting Support:
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Support the finance team with general ledger reconciliations and other accounting tasks as needed.
LIST OF KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
5-8 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) or other ERP systems is preferred.
Key skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
