Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Analyst to join our team. This position will focus on analyzing the effectiveness of the OneShop e-commerce platform, designing and conducting A/B test experiments for conversion rate optimization (CRO), and utilizing various analytics tools to assess how successfully OneShop sites attract organic traffic, engage online shoppers, and drive conversions. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop meta dashboards for monitoring and identifying trends across all sites on the platform, focusing on both meta-analysis and individual site performance. OneShop is an innovative e-commerce platform designed specifically to support the needs of independent businesses in around-the-home categories.
Our customers include appliance, furniture, bedding, and electronic retailers, custom installers, roofers, cabinet makers, flooring companies, and more. Built from scratch, our proprietary platform delivers tailored solutions to help these businesses thrive in a competitive market.
Job Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze data from various sources including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools to assess platform performance.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to organic traffic, user engagement, and conversions.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to inform business decisions.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to optimize conversion rates across the OneShop platform.
- Develop hypotheses for tests based on data analysis, user behavior, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product management, UX/UI design, and development teams to ensure successful execution of CRO initiatives.
SEO & Organic Traffic Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze the overall performance of OneShop sites in organic search results.
- Collaborate with the SEO team on bigger-picture optimizations for improved SEO performance across the platform.
- Inform recommendations for improving organic search visibility and driving more qualified traffic to OneShop sites based on data and trends.
User Behavior & Engagement:
- Analyze user behavior data to understand how shoppers interact with the OneShop platform.
- Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and increase engagement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve site usability and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and development to align analysis with business goals.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Act as a subject matter expert on analytics and CRO, providing guidance and support to other team members.
Meta Analysis & Dashboard Development:
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop meta dashboards for monitoring performance across all OneShop sites.
- Conduct meta-analysis to identify positive and negative trends affecting the overall platform.
- Analyze individual site performance to provide detailed insights and recommendations for improvement.
Google Analytics Configuration:
- Ensure that Google Analytics event triggers are properly configured for all OneShop sites.
- Regularly verify that data is tracking accurately and troubleshoot any issues related to data collection.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing data tracking and reporting capabilities.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
- Strong proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Search Console.
- Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development technologies and platforms is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with Business Intelligence teams to develop dashboards and conduct meta-analysis.
- Candidates will be required to complete and pass a background screening upon offer of employment.

Work Environment:

This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
