Summary:


The Business Systems Analyst at Baylor Genetics will play a pivotal role in analyzing, defining, and documenting business requirements and processes to facilitate the effective development of Digital Products . This role involves leveraging strong analytical and communication skills to understanding business needs and translate them into technical requirements for digital software solutions.

Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Experience:


· 3+ years of experience as a BSA with a focus on technical products and at least 2 years in the laboratory or healthcare space. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, MIRO, JIRA, AZURE, SmartSheet, etc).· Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.· Proven experience working with product management and software development teams.· Additional duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:


· Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze technical requirements for the development of software systems.· Requirements Documentation: Create detailed system requirement documents, use cases, and functional specifications.· Solution Evaluation: Assess and recommend IT solutions aligned with business needs and objectives.· Project Support: Provide support to project managers in implementing technology solutions. Undertake project management responsibilities as needed.· User Acceptance Testing: Conducts, manages and documents UAT testing on all platforms, features and enhancements.

· Frequently required to sit.· Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.· Frequently required to talk or hear.
