Caliber is seeking a full-time Capital Markets Associate/Internal Wholesaler to join our team locally in Scottsdale, AZ. This is not a remote position. This position requires 100% in-office attendance.
As a Capital Markets Associate you will partner with a Vice President of Capital Markets to drive new relationships and business development in a specific territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Outbound sales and service calls involving prospecting, product updates, setting up sales appointments and following up after events.
- Responding to inbound sales inquiries, literature requests and service issues.
- Work closely with VP of Capital Markets in all aspects of maintaining/creating new relationships in the Independent Broker/Dealer and RIA communities.
- Work closely with VP of Capital Markets in developing and implementing a capital raising business plan.
- Partnering with assigned VP of Capital Markets to maximize territory coverage and market penetration.
- Assist in analyzing territory sales data to determine opportunities.
- Assist with territory and firm-wide marketing/sales campaigns.
- Act as a liaison between sales force and the operations department to resolve client issues/problems.
- Support data entry related to input of contact/firm information in CRM for all members of team.
- Work closely with internal departments to identify best practices and maintain cohesive relationship.
- Extract and organize pertinent information from PPMs and disseminate according to audience.

Qualifications (required unless otherwise stated):
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
- Client Service/Sales Experience within Financial Services industry is necessary.
- Experience with CRMs including SalesForce, HubSpot, Appfolio, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to see issues/problems through to their resolution.
- Must be a "self-starter" that can meet activity quotas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be a "self-starter" that can meet activity quotas.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use best judgement to work through challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure.

- Clear, effective oral and written communication skills are required, must be careful listener and clear communicator.
Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The employee frequently communicates with internal team members, investors, and vendors. This role must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. This role constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer and occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs.
