Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, as well as a sprawlingoperation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing,packaging and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.Lazarus Naturals was founded in 2016 to provide safe and accessible CBD products foreveryone who would benefit from them, regardless of their financial situation and ability topay, which is why we provide a 60% Assistance Program to veterans and people withdisabilities or low-incomes.
In order to maintain an affordable price point and ourcommitment to accessibility for all, we have built a vertically integrated business model,which allows us to walk our talk of developing quality, affordable products - from productinception, development, seed, farming, extraction, finished production formulation andpackaging, and distribution.Cycling Frog is normalizing the consumption of casual use THC products. We are on amission to make THC convenient, affordable, and fun by making a sessionable THC beveragethe same price as a beer or soda. We want to change the way THC is consumed and viewedby our society by focusing on lower potency, ready to drink beverages that can easily fit intoanyone’s lifestyle.
Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low potency THCproducts across all 50 states via the internet, and anywhere you can grab a beer.Job OverviewThe purpose of a sanitation tech at Etz Hayim is to work together with Operations andQuality teams in the production of high-quality products while ensuring efficiency andsafety. They will be responsible for maintaining cGMP cleanliness standards ofequipment, tools, parts and work areas.Responsibilities and Duties● Hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks are completed and signed off /documented when complete.● Focuses on the cleanliness and maintaining sanitary conditions of the production rooms,facilities and equipment.● Completes assigned Master Sanitation Schedule tasks - items are completed on time andsigned off accordingly.● Proper use of chemicals for the task.● Match the needs of production, the business and regulatory requirements. This may andwill require reprioritization of tasks to meet the needs.● Execute the plan as defined by the leadership● Participate in the morning production alignment meeting.
Understand your role andhow you and your actions fit to the team’s goal and completion.● Adhere to daily timelines for tasks● In collaboration with QC, ensures equipment, tools and rooms/facilities maintain cGMPstandards at all times.● Completes all training requirements as needed.● Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner inaccordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices(cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Sanitation Schedules and BatchProduction Record (BPR) instructions.● Work with a lean/efficiency mindset● Observe current working procedures and bring up suggestions for improvement● Master the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of equipment (Pumps, tanks, kettles,mixer, forming machine, oven, metal detector, etc.)● Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.Qualifications● 1 year experience working in batch process manufacturing, with sanitation experience.● Ability to follow SOPs and SSOPs● GFSI, SQF, BRC, Organic, Kosher experience are a plus.● Able to clearly communicate, including documentation/sign-off of completed tasks● Strong organization skills● Ability to work with minimal supervision● Able to show up on time and perform duties assigned● Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use themeffectively. We record task completion and M.S.S. completion on electronic tablets.● Ability to receive instruction and follow directions.● Ability to interact positively with co-workers and management.● Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.● Ability to follow company policies and procedures.● Ability to follow cGMP and other regulatory requirements.● Ability to operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment.● Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors and/or inconsistencies whileperforming tasks.● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.● Must be able to lift 40Lb
