NCQA is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer. The position is a key member of the development team, tasked with designing and improving software systems utilizing the latest in modern and cloud technologies. This position involves engaging in the full software development cycle to ensure the creation of robust, scalable, and secure information systems. Working in tandem with senior management, the Software Engineer plays a significant role in influencing the organization's strategic technological direction. This role is pivotal in maintaining the organization's commitment to technical innovation and excellence in its information systems projects.
Responsibilities
Participates in the design and development of programming solutions for various projects.
Proficient in coding with a good understanding of technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, .NET Core, SQL, React, TypeScript, Git, Azure, Vue or Angular
Collaborates effectively within a team and contributes to project goals.- Provides technical assistance to users of NCQA applications; trouble-shoots technical problems and communicates solutions to users and/or delegates to the appropriate staff.
- Provides guidance to addressing customer issues related to software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years experience or specific educational background sufficient to demonstrate competency with Microsoft technology including C# and SQL Server.
Proficient with programming languages as appropriate particularly modern web frameworks such as React.
Comfortable with Object Oriented Programming and Software Patterns.
Excellent inter-personal skills. High motivation and ability to work with teams to meet project objectives.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to meet project deadlines and goals without management supervision
Awareness of database design concepts, and is proficient in general cloud environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- For new hires, this position pays in the range of $115K - $125K per year, depending on experience.
