AIPAC-AIEF Israel (R.A.), an Israeli Amuta affiliated with AIPAC, is looking for a full-time
Missions Coordinator. The Missions Coordinator is responsible for operationalizing educational seminars in conjunction with the Educational Seminar Leaders and ensuring smooth, high-level and well-organized experiences for our participants.  As part of its core mission, the Amuta organizes and executes several dozen week-long educational seminars throughout the year for various delegations in Israel, including for members of Congress. The Missions Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the content and logistics of the seminars, including organizing meetings with high-profile Israeli officials.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Providing all logistical insight and support for AIEF and AIPAC seminars including:
  • Review of all programs for logistical considerations
  • Managing participant lists
  • Communicating with speakers and other service providers – invitations, confirmations, reminders, AV needs
  • Booking venues and other sites
  • Problem-solving when last minute changes occur
  • Identifying new venues including restaurants, hotels, conference rooms, catering and entertainment for seminars
  • Contribute to the planning process of seminars

Requirements:


  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy; preference given to candidates with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Positive attitude, resourcefulness, flexibility, creativity and pro-activeness
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Efficient, reliable, and able to multitask
  • Calm in stressful situations
  • A good understanding of the Israeli political map

Technical Requirements (non-negotiable):


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-level logistical work.
  • Strong, native-level spoken and written English and Hebrew
  • Ability to work out of a Jerusalem-based office at least 3 times a week
  • Readiness to join groups on the ground occasionally
  • Availability outside of standard work hours (at home) to deal with last-minute changes when needed.
