Job Description

As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for learning the ALIS software inside and out as well as creating, maintaining, and executing on individualized project plans based on the clients’ needs. The Medtelligent onboarding team loves to solve problems, work as a team, visit clients, have fun, add value, make jokes, work hard, learn, evolve, build relationships, help people, and be positive ambassadors of the ALIS product and Medtelligent company. And please make no mistake, “onboarding” is not for the faint of heart.

At its core, “onboarding” is change management and the nature of change is complex. The ALIS onboarding team embraces both the difficulty and the rewards associated with guiding communities and their staff through the change process - both from a psychological perspective as well as an operational perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Learn and establish a solid understanding of the ALIS software
  •  Consult with clients to transform their paper process to electronic; create and document new processes and train staff both digitally and (when the time is right) in-person.

  • Liaise between departments on clients’ needs, onboarding department needs, product feedback, and bugs reporting.

  • Experience with G-Suite, CRM usage, and ticket writing.
  • Excel skills (including pivot tables and v-lookups) or solid skills with interest in learning.
  • Strong interest in helping communities and learning about their business as to help consult on process transformation from electronic to paper.
  • Ideally, the right candidate for this role would be located in Chicago but this position is open to candidates from all States if they have previous SaaS onboarding experience with a healthcare product specifically.

  • Good judgment: You can prioritize needs appropriately.
  • High integrity: You tell the truth even when it is hard to do so. You avoid drama and gossip and prefer to bond over growth, positivity, and optimism.
  • Adaptable and flexible: You don’t freak out if plans change or meetings get moved.
  • Solution oriented: You take ownership to actually solve problems instead of just reporting all of the issues.
  • Strives for excellence / finding ways to delight clients: Not just someone looking to cross a task off their list but spending time to over deliver and leave the relationship better than you found it. The company and this team commits itself to high standards for reliability and performance.
