The Role
We are seeking a strategic Senior Content Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive thought leadership strategy that amplifies Middesk’s brand, drives customer engagement, and generates qualified leads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to create compelling content that resonates with our target audiences and aligns with our overall marketing goals. This role will report to our Head of Growth Marketing.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that supports overall marketing objectives, including brand awareness, revenue influence , and customer retention.
Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, videos, and social media posts.
Build and manage an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent publishing schedule and timely delivery of content.
Collaborate with SEO agencies to optimize content for search engines, ensuring it ranks highly for relevant keywords and drives organic traffic.
Position Middesk as a thought leader in the business identity and verification space by creating content that addresses industry trends, challenges, and solutions.
Oversee the creation and production of video content, including scripting, storyboarding, and collaborating with videographers to create compelling visual narratives.
Work closely with the marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to gather insights and create content that addresses customer pain points and showcases the value of Middesk’s solutions.
Set actionable and measurable revenue influence goals, using data-driven performance insights to refine and optimize the content strategy; set up reporting to track and measure the performance of your content and programs.
Develop and execute content distribution plans to maximize reach and engagement across various channels, including email, social media, and partnerships.
Identify and build relationships with industry influencers, media outlets, and partners to amplify Middesk’s content and reach new audiences.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within the B2B SaaS industry. Experience with business identity, verification, or compliance is a plus.
Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills are essential.
Ability to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with broader marketing and business goals.
Solid understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and on-page optimization.
Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) to track content performance and derive actionable insights.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience leading a content team or working with external content creators and agencies.
