We are actively seeking a Analog Design Engineer, based in UK – Reading or Switzerland - Lausanne. Role responsibilities
- Ownership of block level design and verification, schedule and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical leads and architects throughout the design process so as to optimize block specification and performance
- Innovate and deliver creative design solutions
- Partner with physical layout team to ensure post-layout performance meets specification
- Rigorous approach focused on delivering high quality results using Kandou’s design process flow.
- Work with other technical disciplines as appropriate to deliver an end product
- Deliver / participate in design reviews
Competencies
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience in analog IC design
- Hands on experience in analog design of high-speed serial communications circuits is highly desirable
- Experience of analog design in FinFet technologies at 5nm and below is preferred
- Familiar with Cadence analog design EDA tools and Calibre
- Experienced using Ocean and MDL to automate analog design verification
- Experience in DFT/DFM is desirable
- Ability to communicate and present to customers both internal & external
- Excellent at documentation of analog block specifications, performance
- An autonomous self-starter that is also a team player
- B.Eng. or equivalent (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics
