Job Overview


We are seeking a versatile Marketing Specialist who will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing and coordinating events, and creating compelling visual and written content. The ideal candidate will combine marketing expertise with skills in graphic design, content development, website maintenance, and SEO to drive brand engagement and business growth. This individual will create various marketing materials and social media content. This position is responsible for managing our events and conferences in an administrative role, while maintaining the Jet Parts Engineering brand.

The individual in this role will examine trends, develop a messaging platform and competitive position, determine campaign tactics, secure resources, and drive creative development.  This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will work in a hybrid environment based out of our Seattle, WA office.

Key Responsibilities


  • Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team and internal stakeholders to create and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with company goals.
  • Event Planning and Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute events such as trade shows, conferences, speaking engagements, and other industry activities. Work with vendors, manage event logistics, and ensure seamless execution from conception to completion. Develop event budgets, timelines, and marketing materials to support event promotion and success. Post-event analysis, including gathering feedback and measuring event performance to refine future strategies.
  • Content Creation: Develop and write engaging content for various platforms, including website, blogs, social media, and email marketing campaigns. Create high-quality visual content such as graphics, infographics, and promotional materials using graphic design software.
  • Graphic Design: Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, flyers, banners, and digital ads that align with brand guidelines. Ensure all graphic content is visually appealing and supports marketing objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies to inform marketing, content creation and event planning efforts.
  • Website Maintenance and SEO: Oversee regular updates and maintenance of the company website to ensure content is current and functional. Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking in search engines.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align marketing and event initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, website performance and content, using metrics and analytics to assess performance and ROI.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, graphic design, and event planning or management.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of website maintenance and SEO best practices.

Preferred Skills


  • Knowledge of budget management and financial planning for events.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and editing software.
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics and AHREFs).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
