Who You Are
You are an experienced manufacturing Maintenance leader with a track record of safety and equipment up-time. You are able to work cross-functionally with Production and QA teams to ensure customers receive top quality product.You know the importance of performing failure analysis to eliminate recurring failures and maximize reliability. You are comfortable working with our leadership team to oversee maintenance tech hiring and to develop preventative maintenance strategy, SOPs, and spare parts management for a new manufacturing plant.You understand how to create a positive + inclusive culture alongside rapid growth and can put processes in place to foster personal and professional development for all employees.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all maintenance support to factory equipment as well as general facility maintenance
- Supervise and coach maintenance techs to ensure execution of maintenance tasks in safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
- Implement and maintain a safe work environment for all employees
- Perform planning and scheduling of maintenance work while minimizing equipment downtime
- Design and coordinate preventative maintenance plans and implement preventative and predictive maintenance solutions
- Develop and oversee storeroom strategy and spare parts management; monitor and reorder spare parts as needed
- Partner with production leadership to help equipment operators develop autonomous maintenance capabilities
- Establish and maintain SOPs for all maintenance related activities
- Oversee long-term planning and budgeting for all maintenance and continuous improvement projects
- Establish and maintain close relationships with OEMs; collaborate with their internal engineering + maintenance teams when necessary
- Maintain high employee engagement, communicate factory strategy, successes, and challenges, and cultivate Spot & Tango’s culture within the maintenance department
- Help coordinate shift patterns and maintenance scheduling to ensure plant production runs smoothly and efficiently
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years people management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Project management experience
- Understanding of reliability principles (e.g., MTBF, RCA)
- Experience in computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., ERP, MRP)
- Experience hiring maintenance technicians preferred
- Experience working with freeze driers and/or refrigeration equipment a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors Degree in technical discipline preferred
- Dog lovers a plus!
