WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer I or II to help us make a real impact in our Tacoma office. In this role, you will work on private developments that include residential subdivisions, commercial, mixed use, and industrial site development projects. You will collaborate with other design engineers, CAD technicians, and a project manager in preparing civil permit and construction plans, reports, and calculations. As an engineer I or II, you will perform stormwater calculations, write storm drainage reports, design utility extensions for sewer, water, and stormwater, and prepare plans in Civil 3D.

Here's our list of must-haves:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Familiarity with the Western Washington Stormwater Manual
- EIT
- 1-4 years of experience in civil engineering design, including internships or related work
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Anything on this list would be an asset, but is not required:
- Experience designing local residential streets
- Experience designing water main extensions and sewer main extensions
- Familiarity with stormwater modeling using WWHM, MGS Flood and other software
- Familiarity with Civil 3D
- Experience preparing storm drainage reports
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Ranges are based on a 40-hour work week.
- Engineer I $67,725 - $80,000 per year / Engineer II $73,500 - $92,400 per year
- Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
