IN A NUTSHELL

Since we launched with a range of six wallets 13+ years ago, we’ve grown significantly and now release about 50 new products a year (give or take). Our Production team (key to ensuring all of these products (and those yet to come) are manufactured on time, in the right quantity and up to standard is searching for an analyst to help bolster their decision-making. As our Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the team is armed with the right information to make better decisions, reduce costs and increase capacity through process improvements.

You’ll work closely with our internal and external partners to streamline operations, analyse production KPIs, identify opportunities and help to implement these changes. Bring us your clear-thinking mind, supply chain knowledge and love of data to help us. In return we’ll provide you with a great team to bounce off, interesting work and plenty of learning opportunities.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU…

  • Have 2-5 years of experience working with large sets of data, including sourcing data from different systems, pulling it together and drawing practical insights out of it

  • Are deeply interested in and have a strong understanding of global supply chain, production planning and/or manufacturing (either through experience or formal education)

  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet modelling and data visualisation using BI tools (experience using SQL would be a plus)

  • Enjoy deep diving into data, and have a knack for seeing the right insights to produce useful reports and make calibrated recommendations for the wider team

  • Like to understand problems and have a desire to search for the root cause. You’d much rather suggest long-term solutions vs fixing symptoms

  • Possess excellent communication skills and want to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST MONTH, YOU MIGHT HAVE…

  • Analysed our freight efficiency & forwarder performance, investigated further opportunities to improve transit time, order consolidation and cost-saving

  • Reviewed our supplier capacity planning procedures to ensure accuracy and worked alongside our Production & Supply Coordinator to identify areas to dig into further

  • Worked with our data team to create an automated process for matching shipment charges to internal transaction records in our ERP system

  • Conducted a feasibility study on new potential factories and their locations

  • Compared shipping time and cost-effectiveness on direct shipments to customers vs 3PL services for recurring orders

  • Analysed supplier KPI’s, reported findings to our Production and Quality Assurance manager, and developed a dashboard highlighting performance gaps and started drafting an improvement plan

  • Completed a landed cost calculation for a new region we are scoping and reported these back to the larger Production team at a weekly meeting

Life at Bellroy

Bellroy puts its heart, soul and countless design hours into helping the world carry with greater simplicity and ease. Every piece has been deeply considered to help you get the best of life's little moments. In the early 2000s, as slim tailoring became popular, bulky wallets couldn't hide anymore. So, a team of product designers and creatives (who also happened to be friends) sat around a kitchen table in Bells Beach, Australia, to design a slim wallet with fewer layers of leather and better card positioning. The release of this product in 2010 signaled the birth of the Bellroy brand, and we've come a fair way since then... We recognized pretty early on that we could use business as a force for good. So, as a certified B Corp, we constantly pursue better ways to source our leathers, reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products last as long as possible. Our range of carry goods has moved beyond pockets and includes solutions for your tech, work accessories and more - right down to the humble set of keys. Because as long as there are things to carry through our lives, we want to find better ways to store, protect and carry them. bellroy.com twitter.com/bellroy facebook.com/carrybellroy instagram.com/bellroy medium/bellroy
