We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic, international team at Unlayer. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing both manual and automated test cases. Collaborating closely with our product and development teams, you will ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform comprehensive manual testing of web applications to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Conduct API testing and automate it to verify the reliability, performance, and security of our software.
  • Assist in developing, executing, and reviewing automated test scripts, using Cypress.
  • Carry out cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate closely with development, design, and product teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation.
  • Report, track, and manage bugs and issues using relevant tools.
  • Manual testing with opportunity for growth into automation.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance product quality and team efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • 2-3 years of experience in Manual QA with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks like Cypress.
  • Solid understanding of core development principles, along with experience in modern web development frameworks, JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Skilled in API testing using tools like Postman, with a focus on ensuring robust and secure API integrations.
  • Proficiency in cross-browser testing and familiarity with different testing tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a good team player.
  • Experience working with SaaS products is highly desirable.
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications can be a plus.
