We are currently hiring for a Strategic Account Executive who will report to the VP Sales and will be responsible for increasing sales revenue across all channels by generating more leads and net new customers. S/he will work closely with our marketing and customer success teams to coordinate strategies and drive customer retention and expansion. Please note: Candidates who proceed to final stages will be required to provide 2-3+ years of verifiable sales track record (annual quota and quarter by quarter attainment numbers).
Responsibilities
- Develop sales pipeline and manage full sales lifecycle towards achieving aggressive quarterly and annual revenue quotas
- Identify new sales and partnership opportunities for the Insurance technology market through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets and ensure contract terms are adhered to by our company and our customers
- Attract new customers by driving, innovating, and managing the sales process for the business that enables successful lead generation and sales execution activities
- Collaborate with the leaders of Sales, Marketing, Customer Success & Product team to identify and execute company growth opportunities and risks
- Communicate with prospects confidently and empathetically to understand their needs and offer solutions to their challenges and build positive, long lasting strategic relationships with prospects
- Efficiently use Salesforce to maintain and manage and track all sales activities.
Requirements
- Must have solid knowledge of property claims/underwriting workflow and operations.
- Adaptability - the ability to work in an ever-changing environment is critical. Creative and strategic thinking to break into new sectors
- Strong communication and relationship management skills are a must.
- Ideal qualities: curiosity, empathy, solution-finder, high integrity, high EQ/situational awareness, self-starter, solution-finder, aggressive can-do/go-getter attitude with a positive outlook
- Experience working in small, nimble private companies a plus
