Inventory Specialist (3-6 month contract)


at REGENT, you will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge, experience, and creativity to perform a wide range of warehouse activities including; maintenance associated with inventory accuracy, material relocation, and material movement error resolution to support the production of seagliders. In addition, you will participate in material handling including inbound, outbound, inventory, and repackaging activities. Commitment to high-quality standards. The successful candidate for this role will be high-energy, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.

Planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills will be key as well as the ability to assess, solve, and analyze root causes of problems. This is a 3-6 month contract role.

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Maintain warehouse supply inventories
  • Manage product inventory and communicate inventory levels to the Supply Chain Manager and Inventory Manager 
  • Perform periodic inventory counts (cycle counting) per procedure
  • Unload shipping containers, organizing and maintaining supplies 
  • Receive, reconcile, and put away inbound freight shipments 
  • Generating Kits for outbound support of work orders
  • Maintain traceability of all parts 
  • Conduct part/inventory audits
  • Pull samples from inbound cargo/shipments for quality control analysis
  • Pick, pull, wrap, stack, and configure freight for outbound shipments
  • Support general material handling requests from leadership and team members 
  • Participate in group efforts to foster an environment based on continuous improvement 
  • Provide input into safety, quality, and throughput opportunities

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in a Warehouse environment
  • Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Experience generating Kits for outbound support of work orders
  • Forklift and scissor lift experience in a warehouse environment
  • Strong understanding of the full Supply Chain Model and how it affects other aspects of the business 
  • Experience with ERP/Inventory management software tools 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite /Google Sheets

Desired Skills & Qualifications


  • Forklift and/or Scissor lift Certification
  • Experience in an aerospace, marine, automotive, or similar warehouse environment
