In this role, you'll help us improve our ability to report and visualize trends for metrics. You'll partner with members across internal and external teams to help meet their data needs, including reporting metrics, supporting partners in answering questions etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create reporting dashboards and monthly financial reports using SQL and data tools such as Mode and Looker.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and business intelligence needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, answer business questions, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Monitor and ensure data quality within the data warehouse, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
- Develop reports, presentations, and data models to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills, Python experience a plus.
- 3-6 years in data analysis, data science, or related fields.
- Experience with data warehouse and visualization tools, such as Redshift, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Micro-strategy etc.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative/STEM field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data sets and identify patterns and trends.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in credit card industry is a plus.
$130,000 - $180,000 a yearCompensation This role has an annual starting salary range of $130,000 - $180,000 + equity + benefits (see below). Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, and specific work location. This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office, with the data analyst coming into the office three times a week.
