Summary
Our client in Berwyn, PA, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to play an integral role in their financial operations. This role will assist the Controller with the organization's financial management. This will be an exciting role that will have a meaningful impact on the growth of the company.
About the role
- Process payment receipts and bank deposits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with Accounts Payable by reviewing invoices and obtaining proper approvals before processing payments.
- Reconcile company Direct Bill commission statements to ensure accurate payments are received.
- Assist clients with direct bill payment questions.
- Process payments to insurance carriers through account current statements
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller to support the accounting team and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Skills, Education & Abilities
- A minimum of two (2) years of bookkeeping and/or accounting assistant experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable is helpful.
- Highly organized and relentless attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills to accurately record financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing market conditions and business priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
