Business Insider is hiring a Senior Acquisition Marketing Associate to join our Growth marketing team.
This is a temporary 6 month full time position working 40 hours a week.
There is a strong likelihood for extension of the length of the temporary assignment and a possibility for conversion to a permanent role in the future.

The Role & Team:
As a Senior Associate you will support efforts to build the organization’s marketing capacity in support of Business Insider’s strategic vision to grow subscribers. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong project management skills and foundational experience in paid and owned media management. This role reports directly to the Director of Acquisition Marketing and sits on the Growth Marketing Team. This role is open to remote or NY based candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of external paid marketing and internal house ad inventory, including preparing copy and creative briefs.
- Effectively manage key 1st party audience segmentations for use in marketing tactics on and off platform.
- Support monthly promotional (sale) efforts. Review creative concepts and collateral against organization brand and growth guidelines.
- Implement new initiatives to grow the newsletter audience via in-product, emails, cross promotion efforts, events etc.
- Effectively Support on other Growth Marketing initiatives as needed; Including reporting and analyzing performance, monitoring KPI's across channels, etc.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Experience in a Marketing or Communications role.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks against competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; meticulous eye for detail.
- Excellent writing and editing skills and being able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communicator; ability to draft high quality written communications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Foundational understanding of Meta Ads Manager.
- Foundational understanding of Google Ads.
- Enthusiasm for the mission of Business Insider.
Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary: $31-$33 per hour (overtime when needed and approved)
- PTO and paid holidays
- Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits on 91st day of employment
