We are looking for a Financial Services Processor /
Cashiering
Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper, efficient, and compliant handing of all incoming brokerage account deposit funding. You will work directly with registered financial professionals and staff, as well as other internal departments of the firm. Successful candidates are able to roll up their sleeves to be a team player with a positive, upbeat demeanor.

This position may be done HYBRID out of one the following home office locations:
- San Diego, CA: 10150 Meanley Drive, San Diego 92131
- Syracuse, NY: 100 Madison Street, 13202
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
What you will do:
- Timely and Accurate Funds Movement:
- Execute the timely and accurate movement of funds into and out of customer accounts, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Client Communication:
- Respond to inquiries from financial professionals, assistants, and colleagues with professionalism and accuracy.
- Research and Notifications:
- Conduct thorough research and respond to notifications promptly, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
- Forms Review and Data Entry:
- Review and transmit various forms, including meticulous data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Check Deposits and Disbursements:
- Handle check deposits, funds disbursements, and check or redemption requests efficiently.
- Wire Processing:
- Process wire requests accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
- Request Review and Follow-Up:
- Review requests for completeness and proactively follow up when additional information is required, demonstrating a commitment to precision.
- Inquiry Handling:
- Receive, research, and respond to inquiries from financial professionals with a high level of attention to detail and service.
What you will bring - Must haves:
- Previous experience in financial services or related field.
- Working knowledge of pertinent regulations around client account information and funds movement
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer software skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task on a variety of projects
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Positive and upbeat demeanor.
What you will bring - Preferred:
- 3 to 5 years Securities operations experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong knowledge of cashiering and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and protocols
