Job Summary
We seek a Quality Control Specialist for a full-time, on-site position supporting the Marine Force Storage Command at Camp Lejeune, NC. The Quality Control Specialist (QCS) supports the Command’s Consolidated Support Program by evaluating supply chain processes, inventory management controls, warehouse practices and procedures, and storage management, including disposal/divestment, shelf life, and asset serviceability. To accomplish these evaluations, the QCS performs random/sample inventory counts of assets and locations to ensure 100 percent accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Discrepancies found are documented and identified to the respective 3PL Facility Manager for correction. The QCS documents these evaluations and monitors DPAS-WM to ensure corrections are performed. The QCS will also perform associated research to validate records, maintain and ensure data integrity, assess process accuracy, and evaluate process trends. The QCS uses DPAS-WM to monitor transactions that affect inventory balances and coordinates the resolution of discrepancies. The QCS will further consult with Facility Managers to determine if any training assistance is required for 3PL personnel.
