We are looking for an Office Coordinator to join the Easy Dynamics team in our McLean office. This role will handle all aspects of the offices day to day activity and serves as the primary liaison for communications with building management. This role will ensure that the office space is tidy, organized and that visitors are warmly welcomed. The role is responsible for ordering and tracking office supply orders, snacks, drinks, coffee and paper products etc. The role will provide administrative support to our senior leadership team from time to time and will assist with company events. The role requires a self-starter who comes to the table with a can-do attitude and thinks proactively.
Creativity is appreciated, but what’s essential is a willingness to show up, be part of the team and speak up when (s)he needs help. (S)he must demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Given the duties and responsibilities for this role, the individual will be expected to work in the office. The ideal candidate will be experienced in coordinating office functions and be able to work with employees at all levels. The successful candidate will be well-organized, personable and someone who is comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary point of contact with building management on day to day items
- Oversees ordering and coordination of requests and replenishment of food and office supplies
- Ensures daily that the office space is tidy and organized
- Serves as point of contact for coffee and food vendors; ensures pricing is competitive and service levels are met
- Help guests feel comfortable and welcome in our office space
- Coordinates mail and shipping needs for the team
- Handles administrative tasks from the executive team
- Involvement in planning and attending corporate events (including prep and clean up where relevant)
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- One to three years in administrative or office support roles
- Strong communication skills
- Personable and engaging with well-honed customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- This position is within an office environment and requires general physical activity and some light lifting (typically less than 20 lbs.)
