Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing team. The selected candidate will oversee the ongoing maintenance and management of multiple Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs). This role involves handling all aspects including backups, patching, upgrades, developer workstations, monitoring, and ensuring the overall security posture to maintain a valid Authority to Operate. The successful candidate will join a team defined by SAFe as an enabling team, responsible for managing and supporting multiple VPCs. This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph. This position is on-site with our customer in Chantilly, VA, Washington, DC, or Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Terraform.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with Agile project management software such as Jira and Confluence.
- Expertise in data modeling and SQL.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, and .NET.
- Experience utilizing various CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab and GitLab Runner, and Artifactory.
- Experience in deploying and orchestrating Docker containers within cloud environments.
- Experience with managed services in air-gapped government environments, including both unclassified and classified AWS regions, or other cloud service providers. Specific services include Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Relational Database Service (RDS), OpenSearch, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
- Education: Bachelor's degree and at least 10.5 years of relevant experience; Masters or PhD preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with backend technologies such as the Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot, as well as frontend technologies including Node.js, Vue.js, and React/Redux.
- Experience with search technologies such as ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, and Apache SOLR.
- Experience in UI and UX design and utilizing tools such as Axure, Sketch, or InVision.
