The Client Relations team supports the entire FS family of funds by providing customer service, processing, and shareholder communications. The Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide a superior customer service experience.
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Answer inbound telephone inquiries.
- Respond to account related topics including new purchases, account maintenances, balance information, reregistration inquiries and other service-related questions.
- Address client needs and expedite issues to provide efficient and effective resolutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and provide clients resolutions to their issues and concerns
- Act as a liaison with internal departments, custodians, clearing firms and transfer agent, providing exceptional support.
- Understand and balance the concerns of advisors and the operational capabilities of the transfer agent and clearing firms.
- Become proficient with fund policies and procedures as it relates to the issue resolution process.
- Learn investment product attributes as they relate to shareholder ownership and partner distribution of our funds.
- Provide internal and external support with navigation, usage and adoption of systems, tools, and additional resources as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for automation, efficiencies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics background preferred.
- 3 years of financial services, operations and/or other relevant work or internship experience required.
- Prefer familiarity with alternative product structures.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. CRM experience preferred. Experience with SS&C systems (AWD).
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to document policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within the firm at all levels as well as externally with clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
