Job Description:
Dynamo is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support our PEX Space Force contract in Colorado Springs, CO. Support will include but is not limited to providing support on PEX-related application, conducting and evaluating training documentation during Operational Review Board (ORB) situations, assisting in PEX-related meetings, generating PEX reports, and evaluating unit compliance with training regulations. The PEX training support which the PEX Training Specialist will provide includes conducting in-person as well as remote PEX trainings, conduct new user PEX trainings, provide instructor and evaluator PEX trainings, provide leadership PEX training, and finally provide crewforce management trainings as well as O6/General Officer level briefings and training.
The candidate filling the position will provide assistance and troubleshooting software and hardware problems identified by the user.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Provide PEX IT Support and potentially some user training
- Database administration and upkeep of PEX
- Perform monthly unit data audits to include task/mission, training, and evaluation inputs to ensure compliance with Space Force directives
- Troubleshoot PEX software problems identified by the user, resolution, and tracking to include logging problems, duplicate through testing, and analyzing until resolution
- Assist in the creation of PEX Training documentation
- Responsible for establishing user account training profiles, system defaults, modifying access and execution permissions, implement and refine security procedures and practices
- Provide PEX capabilities evaluations and guidance to customers on-site and at various locations for compliance with Space Force instructions and processes
- Represent PEX database team during meetings, briefings, and conferences
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience serving as the point of contact for U.S. Government personnel
- Experience troubleshooting complex software systems
- IT/Help Desk support
- Experience using PEX (Patriot Excalibur) on a regular basis (preferably a unit admin, evaluator, or SME)
- USSF/SpOC Organizational knowledge
- Microsoft Office suite experience
- Good communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with USSF mission sets
- Military training/teaching experience preferred (PME, UTM, train the trainer etc.)
